Deacon Les makes his living as the District Engineer for the ND Dept. of Transportation. He likes to read, garden, and hunt upland game with his pointing dog B'Lucy.

His favorite pastimes include spending time with and serving the Lord, the Sacrament of Marriage with Annette, and serving the parish, the poor, and sojourners.

Stacey Hanson  Business Manager

Stacey is mom to 5 girls, all who have or currently are attending Catholic schools.  She has an undergrad in Business Management from Mayville State and a Graduate Degree from the University of Mary.  She has attended services here for the past decade.  Stacey has had kids in HFSM school for the last 10 years.  Outside of work, she keeps busy with her kids sports schedules: volleyball and softball rule their free time!  She enjoys scrapbooking, cross stitching, reading, and spending time with her family.  When asked  what the best part of her job is, Stacey said "Working to grow our faith community with the resources we have.  I am able to incorporate the faith I love with my day to day work life."

Karen Litzinger Secretary

Karen has been serving Holy Family for over 20 years. She knows the place inside and out (we REALLY miss her when she has the day off!). Karen is originally from Devils Lake, North Dakota. She has 5 grown children and 12 grandkids. On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, Karen can be found in the office she shares with Holy Family's unofficial mascot, Winnie - a dachschund/corgi mix. When she's not in the parish office, Karen likes to read, garden, and crochet. She is a member of the Prayer Shawl Ministry. Her favorite part of her job here is interacting with parishioners.

Renee Holthaus Pastoral Assistant

Renee fills the role of Pastoral Assistant for our parish. Renee and her husband Andy are parents to four great kids, all of whom have attended or currently attend HFSM. Renee hails from Little Falls, Minnesota. She ended up in Grand Forks when her husband was stationed here with the Air Force. She loves camping, fishing, and hunting with her family. She is excited to work with all of our parishioners and volunteers.

Elizabeth Dahlgren Parish Secretary

Elizabeth is the smiling face you see when you visit our Parish Office.  She tries to answer every question our parishioners may have, or at least point them in the right direction to get information. She started here in the spring of 2018 and describes her job as 'a delight to come to, every day'.  Elizabeth's favorite thing about Holy Family is visiting with parishioners who drop by the office.  Elizabeth is a mom to 3 daughters who attend, have attended, or will attend HFSM and an 8 year old step-daughter.  When not at Holy Family, Elizabeth loves to cook for her family, ride motorcycle with her husband Josh, play piano, and read. She aspires to travel more in the future, but her main hobby right now is cleaning and decorating her new house.

Roxanne Hurley Music Ministry Coordinator

Roxanne has been a member of Holy Family since 1990 and has served in the music ministry for over 20 years as a pianist & vocalist with the Adult Choir and Praise Team.  Roxanne is married to John (40 years), has 2 married daughters Katelyn (Josh) and Laura (Carl) and 5 grandchildren (Penn, Cooper, Vera, Hayden, and Beckett ).

Roxanne is a nurse, recently retired from a wonderful career as a UND Nursing Professor.  When not at Holy Family she can be found on her pontoon at Deer Lake, playing with her grand-kiddos, attempting to golf, relaxing at her piano or discussing current topics with her girlfriends over coffee.  She also serves on the Holy Family Outreach Committee.

“I am so grateful for this opportunity to work alongside our wonderful musicians to enhance the worship experience at Holy Family.  My prayer is that the music at Holy Family Parish will inspire you, assist you to connect with the liturgy and ultimately lead you to a fuller relationship with Jesus Christ.   If God has given you a musical talent I encourage you to contact me so you may share it with our parish”.

Cheryl Hahn Choir Director

Married at St Josephs, Devil's Lake, June 11, 1983 to Mike Hahn. We  joined Holy Family Church in 1984.  I have 4 children and 10 grandchildren and our dog, Brownie. In 2019, I retired from the nursing profession after 37 years of practice.  I have played the piano since 2nd grade and started to play the organ in the Fillmore church in the 8th grade. I have been a Cantor and piano player at Holy Family since the early 1990s. I adore our music liturgy and am very excited to have choir music incorporated back into our weekend liturgies. I am adding the role of Choir Director this fall and I will continue to Cantor and play the piano as before. I am happy and excited for this new role at Holy Family Church!
